The latestversion is compared to the internal version, the program will only do the update if the value is bigger, but it doesn't care what the actual binary contains (so if you set 228.0, you can downgrade to any version, as needed). But with phison_nvme_flash_id2, you can check the real firmware. With this, it will update to ECFM22.7, but it since the updater doesn't know the version, it won't generate a RKT303.x to update the visible firmware version.
